I Finally Learned to Listen to My Body!

After years of failed diets, weight gain, bloating, exhaustion, irritability, and feeling frustrated with myself, I decided to fully commit to 2030 FastTrack and Listen to Your Body.

And it changed everything.

 

Life Before

Before starting the program, I was frustrated, uncomfortable, and honestly exhausted from trying so many things that never seemed to work long-term.

My clothes kept getting tighter and tighter, and over the years I had tried so many diets, eating plans, and workouts with little to no lasting success. I had gained weight over about seven years, and my hormones felt completely out of balance. I was fatigued, bloated, irritable, lethargic, and just didn’t feel well anymore.

I had actually done the 2030 Fast Track years ago and experienced some success, but looking back now, I realize I never completed Listen to Your Body (LTYB), and that made a huge difference. I never truly learned how to listen to my body, sustain the results, or address the mindset piece. At the time, I didn’t even realize how important mindset really was.

This time was different.

In Process

I started the program again on Super Bowl weekend in February 2025, and I made a decision that I was going to fully commit — not just to the program, but to myself.

Every single morning for an entire year, I texted my coach my weight using a template I kept in my phone notes. I took my scale everywhere… even on vacation! I listened to all of the Master Classes, Lifestyle Success Lessons, and Motivational Mondays. Most importantly, I worked on changing the way I thought about myself.

I began eliminating the negative self-talk and limiting beliefs that had taken over my mind for years.

And something incredible happened.

By Day 31, I reached my original goal weight — something I truly didn’t think was possible. Then I surpassed it, created a second goal, and reached that by Day 53.

As I write this today, I’m on Day 446 and still maintaining below my second goal weight.

In total, I’ve lost 21.6 pounds and 46½ inches.

But honestly, the biggest transformation isn’t even the weight.

It’s how I feel.

I have energy again. I’m no longer bloated or irritable. I can chase my grandsons around for hours and pick them up without struggling. My joints feel 20 years younger. I can work in the yard and garden for hours without needing Aleve or feeling completely exhausted afterward.

And my confidence has grown exponentially.

One thing Donna said during a Masterclass has stayed with me this entire journey:

“There is nothing that tastes as good as healthy feels.”

That statement is so true.

Today, I fuel my body with nourishing foods, drink half my body weight in water, and move my body every day. I finally understand that taking care of myself isn’t selfish — it’s necessary.

My powerful why is simple:

I am worth it.

I’m worth investing in my health and wellness. I want to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself so I can be an encouragement to my family and friends and continue fully enjoying life.

And now that we’ve learned we’re expecting our first great-grandson in October 2026, that “why” means even more to me.

And if you’re thinking about trying this program, I wholeheartedly encourage you to do it.

Fully commit to yourself. Trust the process. Use the tools and support available to you.
